MENTAL SKILLS TRAINING

Training softball athletes to develop a passion for growth, both on the field and in life!

There’s more to life than softball, and there’s more to softball than scholarships and winning. Our focus on mental health and a champion mindset grows the skills and confidence of all players. 

In today’s world, players are exposed to intense pressures when it comes to performing on the field at younger and younger ages.  It is imperative that players and parents learn and apply healthy coping skills to the game early to help keep the game in perspective, learn how to manage failure, prevent burn out, and more.  Here are just a few of the topics we address with our athletes during mental skills sessions: In-game

✓ Confidence Development ✓ All or nothing thinking ✓ Positive self talk ✓ Comparing yourself to others and how to STOP DOING IT ✓ In game plans; at the plate and on the mound ✓ Dealing with failure ✓ It’s ok to not be ok; how to cope with burn out ✓Communication: assertiveness and being direct with yourself and others
